This week’s Monday weigh-in came in at 266.8 lbs, bringing my total weight loss to 8.2 lbs over 6 weeks. That feels like solid progress. What I’m starting to realize is this journey isn’t about huge weekly drops—it’s about stacking small wins consistently.

Medication Update (Important Change)
This week brought a bit of a curveball.
My doctor was actually out of Semaglutide, so instead of missing a dose and risking any rebound effects, we decided to switch temporarily to Zepbound.
I didn’t increase my dose this week—we kept things steady.
At this point, I’m still learning how my body responds, so staying consistent feels more important than constantly increasing.
Weight & Body Changes
Even beyond the scale, I’m starting to notice some physical changes:
- Less swelling in my ankles
- Face looks a bit leaner and healthier
- Overall feeling slightly lighter
These are the kinds of changes that don’t always show up on the scale—but they matter.
Hunger & Appetite
One thing that stood out this week:
👉 I’m starting to feel a little more hunger in the mornings
👉 And sometimes in the afternoon if I go too long without eating
This is new compared to earlier weeks where I would almost forget to eat completely.
It tells me:
- My body might be adjusting to the medication
- Or I may need to be more intentional with meal timing
Energy & Sleep
For the most part:
- Sleep has been good
- Energy is steady
The only noticeable dip:
- I sometimes feel a little tired in the afternoon on shot day
Nothing major—but worth tracking.
Exercise Update
This is an area I need to improve.
Last week:
- I worked out once
Goal remains the same:
👉 3 workouts per week
I’m not trying to overdo it—just:
- Recumbent bike
- Light weights
- Build consistency
Overall Thoughts (Week 7 Starting Point)
At this stage, I feel like I’m still:
👉 Getting used to the medication
👉 Learning how my body reacts
👉 Figuring out a routine I can stick to
No dose increase this week, just staying the course.
What I’m Focused On This Week
- Hit 3 workouts
- Pay attention to hunger patterns
- Stay consistent with medication
- Keep tracking progress weekly
Final Thought
This process is starting to feel more like a system than a sprint.
The goal isn’t perfection—it’s consistency.
Stay tuned for Week 7 results.
